Background
British Weather Services (BWS) was established in 1987 by founder Jim N R Dale, ex Royal Navy meteorologist, author of 'Weather or Not'? The Personal & Commercial Impacts of Weather & Climate, and co-author of 'Surviving Extreme Weather'.

Jim and his small expert team offer expert consultancy services to all companies looking to mitigate extreme weather & climate change threats, including the deployment of safety measures covering elements such as severe heat & flooding, a growing concern within Thailand and elsewhere. This includes 'The Shield' an online CPD certified course & examination concerning health, safety & survival from extreme weather & other natural events. The course can also be presented in person. BWS supply to a wide range of companies across the globe including Disaster Care, McLarens Loss Adjusters, Bet365, Fedex, DHL, many law firms, several sports clubs including within English Premiership football.

Founder Jim Dale also frequents the media spotlight on global television, radio and in the press on all forms of weather or climate related issues.
