Objectives

The Health & Wellness Working Group is committed to bringing together healthcare professionals and distinguished guest partners to coordinate events that engage the interests of members of the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (BCCT) and their families. Our emphasis is placed on personal health education and sharing healthcare industry developments.

In 2025, the Health & Wellness Working Group achieved its objective of delivering four events across the year. Committee participation also expanded with two additional companies joining the group. The events were intentionally varied to appeal to different interests within the Chamber community.

Attendance continued to include a mix of existing Chamber members and new participants, with a noticeable number of attendees being new to the Chamber network. This suggests the working group is playing a useful role in attracting new engagement within the business community.

2025 Event Overview:

• November, Men’s Health Event

Joint event with AustCham, attended by over 50 participants. The event generated just under THB 50,000 in profit and demonstrated the value of cross-chamber collaboration.

• August, Move with Purpose

Well attended with 43 participants and generated approximately THB 14,000 in profit.

• June, Superfoods: What Really Is on Your Plate

Well attended with over 40 participants, contributing to strong engagement around nutrition and preventative health topics.

• January, Beyond January: How to Make Your Health Resolutions Stick

Attended by 35 participants and generated approximately THB 15,000 in profit.

2026 Outlook

For 2026, the committee expects to deliver two to three events. While four events were successfully delivered in 2025, maintaining that pace may be challenging given the current committee capacity. 

The first committee meeting for the year is scheduled for the last week of March. A poll is currently being conducted to confirm participation for the 2026 working group, with early indications suggesting that approximately 80 percent of members will continue.
