CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) is delighted to announce and host BCCT KING POWER Thailand International Business Awards (TIBA) 2024 on Tuesday, 19th November 2024, at The Landmark Bangkok.
TIBA serves as a platform to enhance and recognise the best in business and entrepreneurial excellence. This is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements across all sectors of the business community in Thailand.
This prestigious business awards is open to individuals of all nationalities and to companies registered in Thailand, whether or not they are BCCT members.
There are 14 awards categories as described below. A company may only be nominated in one corporate category and an employee may only be nominated in one individual category.
CORPORATE
- Most Innovative Company Award: Acknowledging companies that, through successful evolution, have pioneered inventive approaches in product or service development. Judges seek tangible evidence of innovation in processes, productivity, and performance that demonstrably contributed to their outstanding success.
- Outstanding Small Company Award (30 employees maximum): Recognising businesses that showcase remarkable achievements in growth, impact, and innovation. These companies serve as paragons of excellence within their respective industries, embodying the highest standards of performance and success.
- Outstanding Medium-Sized Company Award (31 to 100 employees): Celebrating the achievements of medium-sized companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth, impact, and innovation, setting a commendable standard for excellence in their category.
- Most Promising Startup Award: Recognising new startups as the driving force behind Thailand's economic progress. Judges seek ventures that have transformed innovative concepts into robust business plans and achieved notable success.
- Outstanding Company Award: Evaluating exceptional sector performance, evidence of ingenuity, measurable impact from initiatives, and the presence of long-term strategic plans.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award: Recognising companies that have demonstrated a strong commitment to actively developing an inclusive workplace for all employees, where fairness, respect, equality, dignity, and autonomy are at the forefront of their values and promoted as part of their corporate culture.
- Journey to Net Zero Award: Highlighting businesses that are leading the way in the journey to achieve net-zero emissions. Judges seek exceptional commitment, innovation, and leadership in the pursuit of a sustainable future.
INDIVIDUAL
- Young Professional (less than 30 years old): Recognising the dynamic role of young professionals in driving business success. Their innovative ideas and relentless pursuit of growth make them catalysts for progress. Judges seek outstanding performance and notable career advancement.
- Seasoned Professional (over 20 years in employment): Seeking Thailand's accomplished professionals with over two decades of unmatched expertise. Their extensive experience, mastery, and leadership have left an indelible mark, setting a standard of excellence in their respective fields.
- Exceptional Entrepreneur: Celebrating Thailand's pool of exceptional business talent. Judges seek executives who've transformed initial concepts into thriving ventures, achieving success locally and, when applicable, on the international stage.
- Women in Business: Acknowledging remarkable women who exemplify inspiration, influence others, achieve significant milestones in business, demonstrate innovative ideas, provide effective mentorship, and show resilience in the business world.
- Community Impact: Recognising individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and leadership in making a positive impact on their community, leaving a lasting legacy of positive change and inspiration.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Recognising an individual's outstanding dedication and leadership in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a more inclusive and equitable society or workplace.
- Lifetime Achievement: Honouring an individual's extraordinary contributions and lasting impact on their field over a lifetime of dedicated service, exemplifying a legacy of excellence.
ELIGIBILITY
- Nominated (with the approval/agreement of the nominee) or self-nominated
- The corporate categories must be Thailand-registered companies with all necessary licences (corporate)
- The individual categories must be an employee of a Thailand-registered company with a work permit in the case of a non-Thai national
